August News Letter

We have sent out the August news letter to everyone on our contact list. if you have not recieved your newsletter as of today then we are needing more information from you. Please help out the Children's Ministries at Salem First by emailing me your current address so we can make sure we are as effecient as possible. Thanks for all your help! Camp Canyonview

Are you ready for some serious Summer Fun?!?! Well Canyonview Camp begins on Monday and it's going to be a crazy week of games, archery, songs, swimming, Bible study, and cooking over a campfire. Tonight, at Laser Tag, is the last night that you can turn in your camper registrations so don't forget them at home. Remember that at camp you'll want to wear clothes that your mom won't mind getting dirty and shoes that can get even dirtier, because we're going to be running, hiking, and swimming all over that canyon next week. Here are all the details in case you can't remember them:

- Pick up and drop off at the church: 7:45am - 4:00pm

- Bring

- a sack lunch

- swimming stuff

- disposable camera

- Tons of ENERGY

- Backpack for all your swim stuff

- Don't Bring

- Electronics of any kind

- Bad Attitudes

- Lice

- Your dog

- Anything you don't want to get dirty or wet

Laser Tag!

Hey all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Grade School Ministries will be going Laser Tagging next Wednesday Night. We'll meet at the Church at 6:45 and head to Pietroe's Pizza and play a few games of Laser Tag and be back by 8:15. Make sure you wear something that is dark and will help hide you among the Pirate Themed arena! The cost is going to be $6.00. Let me know if you would like some assistance with the cost and don't forget to bring your friends and be ready for a ridiculously fun night! We'll see you there!
